WHO WE ARE AND WHY WE EXIST

Fundacja Instytut Edukacji, we know that a mission without implementation is simply an intention. For this reason, we have come up with a broad program of activities that would help us achieve our goals through tangible outcomes. Our activities are directed at a wide range of recipients – not only individuals, but also companies and institutions. The common denominator of all our activities is quality, openness, and sustainability.

Core Operational Methods

The activities implemented within our organization can be classified into several methods, which include:

Information, Promotion, Training, and Consulting

Progress depends on knowledge. We deliver quality knowledge services that include information provision, marketing and promotional activities, professional training courses, and consulting services for individuals, organizations, and institutions. Our training courses are result-oriented; we train people who will use their knowledge and skills effectively at both their workplaces and personally. We offer business consulting and advisory services to companies, NGOs, and other institutions interested in improving their performances.

Exchange of Experiences and Information

We provide opportunities for mutual exchange of experience and information among different spheres of economic activity; we are intermediaries between entrepreneurs, public administration, academia, and the civil sector. We create programs involving study tours, networking events, and discussion forums to help our partners learn from one another, exchange their best practices, and develop long-term partnerships. Such exchanges go beyond Polish borders, uniting our partners with partners around the world.

Building Human and Technical Potential

Sustainable development entails investments in people as well as infrastructure. We believe in investing in the development of human capacity through the provision of training and mentoring programs. We also help organizations to develop the technical infrastructure required to carry out development research and innovative technologies. We know that innovation goes beyond mere technological aspects; innovation requires an enabling environment.

Educational, Uphringing, and Teaching Institutions

Education is an integral part of our culture. We create and run education establishments that offer excellent educational possibilities to everyone irrespective of age. When it comes to our education process, we stress the importance of critical thinking and civil awareness in order to prepare citizens who are going to be effective members of society rather than just employees. We also seek to make career guidance more professional, as this is important from the point of view of economy.

Project Implementation

We develop, structure, and implement various projects that strive to fulfill our legislative objectives. Such projects are frequently long-term efforts co-funded by European, state, or private funding sources. Each of the projects we initiate goes through meticulous planning, monitoring, and evaluation in order to ensure its effectiveness. Our list of projects encompasses:

"Wygraj życie!" (Win Life!): A training program for employment in various fields such as administration, logistics, and customer service. Internship opportunities within local enterprises and assistance in finding permanent employment are provided for the beneficiaries of this program.

"Kompas Kariery" (Career Compass): Our efforts in this program are oriented toward the improvement of career counseling in Poland. In particular, we study the dynamics of the labor market, develop new models of career counseling, and provide training for career counselors. At the same time, we provide career counseling services to people seeking assistance.

"Akademia Nowych Kompetencji" (Academy of New Competencies): An upskilling program for adults requiring adaptation to new conditions of the labor market. It involves taking various courses related to digital competencies, project management, and entrepreneurship.

Analysis, Research, and Expert Opinions

Evidence-based practice is what we advocate for. All the research we conduct is oriented toward the analysis of issues related to the labor market, economy, human resources, and social development. As part of our work, we develop analytical studies, expert reviews, and position papers, which will be of use for decision makers and help in informing public debate. Research conducted by us is distinguished by its high level of methodological rigor and relevance, combined with transparency.

Conferences, Seminars, and Meetings

We host and cosponsor lectures, seminars, workshops, and conferences designed to spread information and gather data regarding topics that fall within our mission statement. We hold these events to get experts and practitioners who face the same challenges together to talk and share ideas on how to solve these problems. The conferences we sponsor are well-respected for being of great substance.

Fairs and Dissemination Events

In order to reach wider audiences, we host or co-host fairs and dissemination events where we present information on topics within the scope of our activities. The purpose of such events is to make complicated information simple and relevant to general public. We take part in such events in order to popularize our projects and findings and to establish new partnerships.

Competitions, Scholarships, and Aid Programs

We have created many activities including competitions and other events aimed at fostering creativity and innovation and helping people excel. Our scholarship programs help gifted individuals finance their education without any difficulty. There are several aid programs designed by us that provide financial assistance to different organizations and communities. Internships and training programs run by us give valuable experience to budding professionals and career switchers.

Reports and Publications

It is us who produces and funds reports focused on particular aspects of living and society problems. Such kinds of reports have the main aim to help develop discussion on topical issues, facilitate policy-making process, and assist decision-makers when it comes to making important decisions. We prepare such reports carefully, professionally, and widely distribute them for maximum effectiveness. At the moment, we are working on the report concerning the future of work in Poland and the changes that might happen in it due to certain factors.

Cooperation with Domestic and Foreign Partners

Collaboration is crucial for our success. We collaborate with both domestic and international organizations conducting operations or having significant potential regarding our goals. Our collaborators range from universities, research institutions, companies, non-governmental organizations, and governmental institutions. We appreciate these collaborations since we benefit from utilizing complementary competencies and making a bigger impact by collaborating with others. Some of our international collaborations involve organizations based in Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and many other European countries.

Grant-Giving and Supporting Activities

In addition to the execution of our initiatives, we also conduct grant-making operations that assist other organizations in meeting their objectives. Grants are offered to non-profit and social ventures that are consistent with our purpose. We also conduct support services that will enable organizations to secure grants and help from other sources.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Not only are we open to new technological advancements, but we also strive to develop innovative methods, build new alliances, and innovate in order to add value for our stakeholders.
